Rogue Twitter Account Has A Following

Following a gag order from President Trump, which suspends social media use of federal employees and agencies, USA government scientists have taken the fight for information sharing on Twitter.

Especially the EPA and other related agencies have had the kibosh put on them by big government.

The official NPS Twitter account found itself in hot water last week, too, when it was asked to stop tweeting after sharing images comparing the crowd size of Trump's inauguration to that of former President Barack Obama in 2009. "You can take our official twitter, but you'll never take our free time!" Yet now it seems that there are many other Trump-haters who have formed rogue accounts that spout stuff that doesn't tally with Trump's point (s) of view.

A tweet from the "rogue" NASA account, @RogueNASA, reads: "We can not allow Mr. Trump to silence the scientific community".

"An account that tweets climate facts *and* in Spanish?!"

An administrator of an associated Rogue NASA Facebook page told Reuters the alternative site was being used as a platform by agency scientists and others who support them. The official National Park Service communications office also did not respond to requests for further comment.

Iniesta to miss game against Eibar because of calf injury
I have many options. "I try to control the number of minutes he plays but football is a contact sport and he's been injured a lot, he's had very bad luck in that respect".

ActualEPAFacts told us they were surprised by how many people are now following their account - more than 90,000 currently - but also felt exposed by what they were doing. Internal directives were given to several environmental agencies, requiring them to curb their dissemination of information to the public.

Trump has often been criticised for his stance on climate change, especially after he called climate change phenomenon a Chinese propaganda to hurt American business prospects.

The Trump administration's attempt to muzzle environmental messages on social media appears to be failing bigly.

The network of alternative Twitter accounts includes those of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), NASA and even the National Park Service. @AltNatParkSer, he largest "unofficial "resistance" account for the National Parks Service has over one million followers as of Thursday morning, more than two and a half times that of the actual agency account.

"Civil servants have a job to do and part of that job is to interpret the national parks and history behind it", said a former official at the Interior Department, the parent agency of the National Park Service, who spoke on condition of anonymity. The group said they intend to take "a stand for science in politics". They want to continue their work. You have 75l, 000 people feeling attacked. "When they silence you, we will speak for you". "I don't see this stopping".

There are also rogue accounts for the US Department of Agriculture, Forest Service and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
