Mexican congressman climbs border fence to prove a point

Mexican congressman climbs border fence to prove a point

A Mexican congressman named Braulio Guerra climbed the Mexican-American border wall Wednesday to send a message to Donald Trump about the utter stupidity of his plans.

People have been condemning Trump's decision of building the wall across the border by protesting all over the United States. "It would be simple for me to jump into the United States". During the 2016 election, the former president of Mexico Vicente Fox famously declared, "I'm not going to pay for that fucking wall!"

While we have no clue what Trumps $30 billion wall would actually look like, Guerra makes one hell of a point here, not to mention an awesome smug look when he reaches the top.

"Simple to climb the #Wall but there are many dangers to our people".

Trump has insisted that Mexico will pay to build a new wall along the US-Mexico border. It's not clear how Guerra got on top of the wall and he didn't film himself crossing over to the U.S. The Border Patrol and the State Department had no comment regarding Guerra straddling the border wall.

Echoing Mexico's leading politicians, Guerra wrote on Twitter that "human rights, principles and dignity are non-negotiable".

NJ Dems want state protection for transgender students
The case goes to the Supreme Court on March 28, but Obama's transgender order was a part of that case. President Trump reversed former President Barack Obama's transgender bathroom order last week.

The lawmaker's video, posted Thursday to Twitter, does not show Guerra climbing the barrier.

As he peers down at Pacific beaches on either side of the fence, Guerra harks back to what he views as a friendlier period of diplomacy.

Some irritated responders on Twitter suggested this means the USA should build a higher wall, or one that is electrified or topped with barbed wire.

According to ABC News, the current border fence is made up of various different types of fencing from temporary chainlink to the thirty-foot tall fence that Congressman Guerra perched himself on.

In the video, Guerra called on the US and Mexico to "be good neighbors and help each other". Others have called the photos a ridiculous stunt.
