Palestinians must agree to conditions before peace

They champion a withdrawal to lines approximating those Israel held before the 1967 war, with continued Israeli control over three major West Bank settlement blocs where the vast majority of Jewish settlers live. This is the destination to which Mr Netanyahu has been steering the Israel-Palestine conflict his entire career.

Mr Netanyahu said he was committed to peace, and the people of Israel yearn for it. It said Egypt been working toward a two-state solution for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Netanyahu is due to touch down in Australia this week for meetings with Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and opposition leader Bill Shorten.

According to the same source, the proposal had also stipulated Jerusalem as a shared capital for Israelis and Palestinians and it softened the wording of the "right of return" of Palestinian refugees who lost properties to Israeli settlements.

Australia's foreign minister indicated last week that Canberra could be open to a one-state agreement as well if that was what the sides desired, echoing US President Donald Trump's statement last Wednesday that he would accept whatever Israelis and Palestinians agreed on.

President Trump remained true to his customary flip-flopping on just about every issue when he stated during a joint press conference with Prime Minister Netanyahu that he is "looking at two-state and one-state, and I like the one that both parties like..."

Doan then took a taxi to Sky Star Hotel in Salak Tinggi, reaching it in about 10 minutes, and went up to Room 209. A source close to the Malaysian prime minister's office said police were still waiting for an autopsy.

He said: "I am sure the Foreign Secretary would agree that it is deeply disappointing that President Trump could casually disregard so many years of worldwide consensus on a possible peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinian people". Netanyahu said Sunday that the sides have formed joint teams to coordinate settlement construction. "In return, I said I would work proactively to get global consent of sorts for construction within the settlement blocs".

The US ambassador to the United Nations, however, later disputed the notion that the US does not support the two-state solution.

"Did Mr Netanyahu give any hint in his recent meeting with the Prime Minister that he too was prepared to live with a one-state solution, and if so, what was her response?" They persistently indoctrinate their school-age children for the destruction of the Jewish state.

On Thursday, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley said the U.S. supports a two-state solution, but "we are thinking out of the box as well".

This week it emerged that at a secret summit in Aqaba previous year - attended by Egypt and Jordan, and overseen by U.S. secretary of state John Kerry - Mr Netanyahu was offered a regional peace deal that included nearly everything he had demanded of the Palestinians. It could only be acceptable to its people if Israel became a secular state with equal rights for both peoples.

A one-state solution is also tricky.
