West Ham boss left 'angry and disappointed' by Payet transfer demand

West Ham have pleaded with the French worldwide to see through the season with them, as they desperately fight to climb the table, and have agreed to sell him this summer - but he has refused.

Payet finished last season with nine league goals and 12 assists, forcing his way back into the French national team, where he would end up being a key figure as France made it all the way to the final of Euro 2016. Slaven Bilic's men struggled to get going in the early parts of the season and hence found themselves in the relegation zone and it looked like they were going to be embroiled in the battle to survive the drop.

Skybet go 11/10 (2.10) that Payet remains at West Ham after the window closes on Tuesday 31 January.

West Ham are adament that Payet will not be sold during this transfer window despite his refusal to play for the club again. I spoke to the chairmen. West Ham did well spotting an opportunity perhaps, but many top clubs had scouted Payet but were unwilling to risk a bid.

Bilic also said Payet is not training with the club and will not feature against Crystal Palace this weekend as he has head his head turned amid talk of a big money move. "Two days ago, he and I had a meeting".

Last season's joyous displays have been noticeable by their absence however, and Payet's main contribution this campaign has been the reputation that demands the player be closely marked even when he wasn't doing anything.

Democratic Congressman Keeps Hanging Painting Back Up That Depicts Cops as Pigs
The painting, which depicts a pig in a police uniform aiming a gun at a protester, is now hanging on a wall on Capitol Hill. Removing the painting amounts to stifling another person's perspective, not just a gratuitous insult against police.

"If I was Bilic, I'd get the best price I could for him and I'd kick him out".

"He's probably been tapped up by some clubs or whatever", Bilic said.

West Ham boss Slaven Bilic however has assured that the club won't be selling Payet, so should the player hold on to his promise, he will be living the upcoming years with a £120,000-a-week salary until 2021, when his current deal finally expires. The Hammers have reportedly rejected a £20 million bid from Payet's former club Marseille. "We want to keep our best players".

A disturbing situation for the West Ham fans happened yesterday morning when star player Dimitri Payet refused to go out and practice.

"He wouldn't make a stand like that unless the club was interested".

Many West Ham fans would like to see emerging young midfield talent Edimilson Fernandes remain in the side and argue he is a better player than Mark Noble.
